In a defensive battle, Covenant topped South Christian by a score of 1-0 on Thursday night. With 2 minutes left in the 1st half, Trevor Miedema blasted a rebounded ball into the bottom corner of the net for the game's only score. Covenant held off several Sailor rallies to preserve the victory, and the shut-out.
Covenant will host Holland Calvary on Tuesday at 4:00, in the opening round of the MHSAA districts
