Boys Soccer Advances to Dictrict Finals

Eight minutes into the game, from the top left side of the 18 yard box,a shot, lifted over the keeper, sailed into the upper right corner of the goal to give Covenant a 1-0 lead in the District Semi-final game against NorthPointe Christian. The score, by Grant Flikkema, would hold for the rest of the game, as the Chargers posted the 1-0 shut-out. It was a back and forth game, with both teams getting opportunities and both teams getting some strong play from their keepers.

With the victory, the Chargers advance to the District Finals to take on Calvin Chr. The game will be played at NorthPointe Chr on Saturday, Oct 22 at 2 PM.
